Star Icon Comments:

In this issue we see yet another of the major ramifications of the "Infinite Crisis" crossover hit Diana's world hard - first her mission was all but destroyed by the killing of Max Lord and now she is left alone in Man's World to face an uncertain future...

Star Icon Plot Summary:

Io and Phillipus go to Wonder Woman's aid and fighting off the hordes of OMAC's, Diana covers her sisters and head back to the safety of the Amazon's defensive force field. However, the OMACS have already breached it and as a wholesale slaughter of the Amazons takes place, Artemis finally uses the weapon constructed by Io, a Purple Death Ray, to destroy all the attacking OMACS. When Wonder Woman arrives to see the dead OMACs lying around she realises Brother Eye has won the propaganda war, as it beams live images around the world of the Amazons killing the innocent people trapped inside the OMAC suits. Knowing that the World will never trust the Amazons and their mission of peace after seeing such barbarous acts, she tells her sisters that they have no choice but to withdraw from Man's World forever. She elects to stay behind saying "My destiny was never on this island" and with tears in her eyes, she watches as her sisters fade away to another plane of existence while she prepares to face the remaining swarms of OMAC's intent on killing her once and for all!
