Comments:

As part of the "Zero Hour" crossover event, "Wonder Woman" and many other titles were issued as special "0" issues. This issue includes a "re-imagining" of the Amazons' origin. And yes...yet another superb cover from Brian Bolland!

Plot Summary:

Hippolyta has ordered a contest to choose a new "Wonder Woman", as she feels that Diana has failed in her mission during the Amazons' many years absence from Earth and that a new Champion to represent the Amazons in Patriarch's World is required.
