Comments:

In this issue we see a hint that Jonah McCarthy, the newest member of the Themysciran Embassy staff introduced in issue 195, may not be all he appears to be. Rags Morales and Michael Bair, fresh from their acclaimed work on the seminal DC crossover "Identity Crisis", joins the creative team as the new regular artists.

Plot Summary:

Zeus and his brothers, Hades and Poseidon plot to overthrow Athena and regain the throne, using Ares as their ally. Meanwhile Athena calls upon Diana once more to undertake another task and to free Lord Hermes from the Pits of Tartarus, where he has been entombed ever since Circe killed him in "War of the Gods" #3. If Wonder Woman agrees to her request, the Goddess will grant Diana the wish she had asked for in issue 213. Diana, accompanied by Cassie and Ferdinand who refuse to let the Amazon undertake this task on her own, descend into Hades' realm to confront its many nightmares.
