Plot Summary: |
It is revealed that in order to let Artemis win the contest so that she would
then become the new Wonder Woman and be the one that Hippolyta saw die in her
vision, the Amazon queen had asked the mystic Magala to create a spell transferring
some of Diana's power to Artemis. Hippolyta realises to her horror that the
spell is still in force, her daughter is in danger and that the vision may still
come true. The issue climaxes with Diana being blasted by Neron, apparently
killing her!
