Plot Summary:

The badly wounded Wonder Woman returns to the Embassy on the fabled horse Pegasus, which has sprung from the slain Medousa as per the Greek legend. Her friends watch worriedly as Dr. Leslie Anderson dresses her stab wound and examines her eyes in an attempt to heal them. Io and Carrisa arrive from Paradise Island bringing with them the Purple Healing Ray, but it fails to restore Diana's eyesight. She tells them that the wound was made by the hands of a god and only a god can heal it. Meanwhile the Cheetah breaks the villain Zoom from his prison.
