Rumours that the romance between Diana and Trevor Barnes would eventually lead to Wonder Woman losing her virginity caused a MAJOR controversy amongst the fan community! A similar fan frenzy would be stirred up several years later when, as part of the New 52 reboot, Wonder Woman and Superman become a couple.
The issue also contains a back story called "Postcards from the Edge" featuring Donna Troy and a return of the pre crisis villain known as Angleman.
