So, after a “Big Bang” launch of a completely redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up website, I guess it was inevitable that there would be a few technical gremlins to contend with! And sure enough I had to address one or two issues during the initial weeks after the site launched. But, all being well, I believe that these have now all been addressed and the site should be considerably more stable and robust. However, I of course welcome any feedback to the contrary if anybody experiences further issues and I will do my level best to remedy them.
On the subject of feedback, I always value genuine, honest and constructive feedback from people about the site generally. Let me know what you like about the site – and what you don’t like. This may only be a hobby for me and, as I’ve stated before, I don’t make a penny out of running this site and indeed it actually costs me money to maintain it – but that does not stop me wanting to continuously improve the site and make it the best experience I can for my visitors. My goal has always been to make Amazon Archives a rich resource for Wonder Woman fans and non-fans alike. To help those hard core fans who are building their comic collections, through to those who are just starting out on their journey of discovery and learning what makes this character so special, so iconic and so enduring in comics.
To this end the site has now been extensively updated with over 100 new issues within the ‘Letter A’ section. Throughout next year I intend to continue to populate each letter of the alphabet sequentially, focusing on those issues where Diana has a key role in the story line; or where she appears in more than just a cameo in a couple of panels. And of course the “Wonder Woman” and “Justice League” sections will be kept up to date with the latest issues aa they are published.
After the great year Wonder Woman has had in 2017, with her successful sole movie debut – with a sequel already pencilled in for November 2019 – together with the 75th Anniversary celebrations that have been taking place over the past year or so, let’s hope that our Amazon Princess goes from strength to strength in 2018!
So, it just remains for me to wish all my visitors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
