Comments

This issue takes the form of a flashback story, as Diana recounts a tale from her youth and features guest writer Steve Orlando, making a welcome break from G Willow Wilson’s unpopular run, which seemed to be pitched at a “tweenie” audience and which featured a character barely recognisable as Diana both in words and actions.

The issue also saw a guest return of fan favourite artist Aaron Lopresti.

Synopsis

Wonder Woman recounts for Maggie and Atlantiades the story of when Diana and her other Hippolyta were trapped in Dimension Chi – another dimension where the queen’s every action would be mirrored darkly by her devil’s advocate of a double.  Mother and daughter were imprisoned by Hippolyta’s doppelganger, the Empress of the Amazons in that dimension. It was only though helping the Amazons of Chi to defend their home against a counter-attack by Queen Atomia that they proved themselves and gained their freedom.

And now Diana finds herself back here once more…
