This story was first printed in Justice League Giant #7 and Wonder Woman Giant #1, which were both published as part of a series sold exclusively at Walmart stores in the United States. The series formed part of a larger partnership with DC Comics which was launched in July 2018.
Wonder Woman locates Steve and his team as they are attacked by giant insects. Nate is killed but the Amazon Princess manages to defeat their foes, with the help of Jonah Hex after she injures herself in the process, discovering that the island is seriously affecting her powers and abilities.
Diana has a nightmare about the Justice League asking her to step down because she longer has her abilities. As the group bury Nate they are suddenly attacked by The Cheetah who realises her arch nemesis is at a disadvantage and takes the opportunity to steal her magic lasso before getting away. As the group try to track her down they come across alien troops apparently searching for Princess Sibella.
