This limited series launched during the Rebirth are and was intended to bring together the DC and the Watchmen universes for the first time.

Strangely, while both Batman and Superman play starring roles in this story line, the third member of the DC Trinity is conspicuous by her absence. Aside from a few panels in issue 9 and again a couple more here in this issue, Diana plays no significant role whatsoever. To add insult to injury, she is unceremoniously carted away by her Amazon sisters mid fight to “protect her”!

Synopsis

As Batman searches for the one person he believes can help him save the world, Rorschach, Wonder Woman is extracted back to Themyscira by her Amazon sisters mid-battle with Black Adam. The Amazon Oracle had foreseen that Diana would suffer grave injuries battling her foe, but having removed Wonder Woman as a threat, Black Adam and his comrade are free to attack America with impunity.
