Wonder Woman tells her Aunt that she has fought bravely over these ages but it is time for them to take over the fight on her behalf. As Diana, Artemis and Aztek enter the Thirteen Heavens they confront Tezcatlipoca. The God is strong and initially the battle doe snot go well, so Artemis tries to use the Bow of Ra but burns herself in the process.
But Aztek has an idea to craft the arrow bolt anchor it with the lasso of truth it might be able to pierce Tezcatlipoca’s true form, not his shell.
The plan works and they bring him low, though he tells them that unlike their gods he fights in multiple dimensions and while they have beaten him here he fights on elsewhere. Wonder Woman replies that may be so but each time they will be there to see he is defeated.
Returning to the Earthly plain Artemis assumes Diana will do what Themyscirans have always done to the Bana-Mighdall and judge Atalanta for her actions. But the Amazon Princess says that they will take back home to her fellow Bana-Mighdall Amazons. She is a hero to her people and deserves her triumphant returrn.
Soon they are cruising in the Invisible Jet towards Qurac, where the Bana’s have set permanent camp. Atalanta muses how it has been along time since she has been with her people and she wonders how much they have changed.
And at the Bana-Mighdall encampment a new Queen sits on the throne and seeing “traitors” approach, orders her general to arrange a suitable armed welcoming committee…
