Synopsis

As Wonder Woman and Jason approach the huge Best King she gets an update over her earpiece from Steve, who brings her up to speed on events across the world. The other four Dark Gods have spread out and are using their Dark powers to influence the population.

Savage Fire, the God of War, is fanning the flames of discontent in South America causing conflicts to brake out across the continent. The Mob God has captivated the population of Britain in her thrall, so entranced that they are no longer eating, sleeping or taking any responsibilities. Karnell has turned China into a Bacchanalia, so extreme that tens of thousands are dying. And the God with no Name has turned the streets of Russia into a bloodbath as the citizens perform mass suicides. Meanwhile the  residual effects of the Gods’ presence is causing further acts of madness and violence across the rest of the planet.

Wonder Woman vows to Steve that she and Jason are going to stop them, starting with Best King. Brother and sister than attack the colossus and working as a team they manage to carry it away and dump it into the ocean. Jason asks if that will stop him and Wonder Woman replies she doubts it, but it should at least slow him down so they can deal with the others.

They split up to take on the other Gods . As Wonder Woman zooms across the sky an A.R.G.U.S. jet-copter pulls up alongside and she sees Steve on board.  She joins him and he tells her he was going stir crazy monitoring events from the safety of HQ and wanted to join her on the front lines. He then says how military forces have been making assaults on the Dark Gods in all locations but are suffering heavy loses and are pulling back to plan their next move.

He asks where Jason is and she replies he has flown to South America for a rematch with Savage Fire.

At that moment above Paraguay Jason arrives and confronts the War God, vowing that this time there will be a different result. As Jason prepares to do battle he summons the wisdom of Athena so he can use the power of Dolos. But his eyes open wide in shock…

Back on the Jet-Copter Steve explains how A.R.G.U.S. are summoning the biggest multi-team version of the Suicide Squad ever, together with as many Titans and Justice League reserves they can muster.  He just hopes that don’t also get absorbed by the Dark Gods to make them even more powerful as had happened with the Justice League themselves.

Just then he is notified by an aide that they may need to change their plans. The Dark Gods have vanished. But as the aide speaks he gets a further update that in fact, they have all converged in one location. Over Paraguay.

Instantly Wonder Woman realises that is where Jason had gone and she launches from the copter to fly there as fast as she can. But as she approaches the locations she can see no sign of either him nor the Gods. Suddenly she is blasted by a thunder bolt from an unseen assailtant.

Trying to regain her senses, she turns to see it is Jason and says that he surely was too powerful to be turned mad by the Dark Gods? He smiles back that far from being mad, he is saner than he has ever been and sees everything clearly now. The Greek Gods are nothing.

With that he blasts her from the sky and she is sent plummeting to the ground unconscious, as Jason and the Dark Gods surround her…
