Synopsis

Wonder Woman and Supergirl fight above Washington DC. Kara keeps ranting about the the Dark Gods whispering in her head, and that now that Rao and the Greek Gods are all gone, Diana must be stopped be fore she interferes. Wonder Woman does the bear minimum to defend herself and dodging heat rays she manoeuvres to ensnare Supergirl in her lasso, demanding to know what she is talking about and who these Dark Gods really are?

Meanwhile in the Aegean Islands Jason is meeting with the Fates in a meeting Glaucus has arranged on his behalf. Jason tells them about his few days of black out and how he returned wearing his new armour. It has all of the Greek God’s powers but he can only use one power at a time however.  It has taken some time to master but he is beginning to get the hang of it. Nevertheless he feels that the armour was not really meant for him.

They explain that he is correct and that the armour was created by Zeus as an added weapon against the Dark Gods. Jason asks who these Dark Gods are and is told that they will be here soon and that the Olympians foresaw their arrival many years ago. Zeus had therefore created the armour for Earth’s greatest champion.

Jason immediately realises they mean his sister, Diana. They nod and continue to tell him that Zeus had died before he had a chance to bestow the armour to his daughter. As a result the rest of the Olympic Pantheon wanted to honour his wishes but as they still retain their traditional views they had assumed Zeus had meant it for his son. All except Hera who had allowed him the have it just to mess with him!

Jason asks if she should give the armour to Diana but The Fates say it is to late now and they the armour is his forever. So he had better learn to master it quickly because The Dark Gods are no longer coming…they’re here! Jason immediately dons his armour and sets off to join Diana.

Back in washing DC Wonder Woman is speaking with Steve back at A.R.G.U.S. HQ who tells her that there are four massive objects entering the atmosphere. She in turn tells Steve that they are probably these Dark Gods that Supergirl had been raving about and that she had tried unsuccessfully to question Kara about what they were, as the Maid of Steel had simply fallen unconscious.

Just then Jason arrives and tells her that he has been speaking with the Fates and they they can catch up later. As the clouds begin to swirl above them they see what appear to be four huge monoliths emerge. But as beams of energy fire out from their eyes they realise these are more than inert statues.

Just as Wonder Woman prepares to investigate further however she is whisked away by the Star Sapphires who need her assistance leaving a perplexed Jason alone to face these Dark Gods!
