Synopsis
Wonder Woman recovers from her fall and worriedly calls out to Jason and is relieved to see that like her, he has super healing powers and his slashed neck is already healing. They look for Silver Swan but she is nowhere to be seen and Wonder Woman suspects that she may also be able to repair herself. She then suggests to Jason that go to the hospital where Vanessa was residing to pick up her trail.
When they arrive however they find the authorities are already on site where there is a scene of carnage as Silver Swan has killed every doctor, nurse and patient. A police officer tells them that according to the hospital video security footage the villainess had cut herself and squeezed some of her blood into the hospital computers. The Nanites in her blood stream and then gone to work and erased Vanessa’ entire medical history. What’s more, they had then spread out via the internet across the globe and destroyed all records relating to the procedures used to create the Silver Swan.
Wonder Woman tells Jason that Silver Swan has now made sure she is unique. Btu she has a plan…
Later Jason has returned to the beach house to clean himself up and Silver Swan arrives, planning to hurt Diana by killing her brother. But Wonder Woman is waiting for her and after a fight where, this time, Wonder Woman holds nothing back she eventually subdues Silver Swan and diving deep down into the ocean, depriving her of oxygen, she finally re-emerges again with a healed Vanessa, free of the influence of the Nanites.
The next day at A.R.G.U.S. headquarters Wonder Woman visits the lab where Vanessa, now in a coma, is being held inside a status tube. She discusses the girl’s condition with Doctor Carne, the expert in trauma induced conditions like the young girl’s. He tells Wonder Woman that he has dealt with cases like this before and that she may wake up – or she may never wake up – and it is too soon to tell.
The remarkable technology that enabled her to walk again has also now been lost to the world, depriving others of being able to be healed again, so it is in the world’s interest for her to wake up so they can learn from her. Doctor Carne reassures Wonder Woman that as and when the girl wakes he will be there by her side – but the Amazon Princess is unaware that Doctor Carne is using a psychic projection to disguise his real identity and that he is in fact none other than Doctor Psycho!
Back at the beach house meanwhile Jason has decided that him being around Diana is an embarrassment for her and that he needs to find himself and be more worthy of her. He writes her a note but as he prepares to leave he is engulfed by purple energy and disappears.
Wonder Woman arrives to find him gone and just the note left behind…
