Synopsis

Silver Swan attacks wonder Woman and a fight breaks out, although Diana holds back not wishing to hurt the girl. The Amazon Princess asks her what has happened to her as she had only managed to recognise it was Vanessa by remembering the drawings she used to do depicting herself as a flying Swan.

Silver Swan, speaking in the third person, replies that “Vanessa” had loved Diana as a friend and as a sister. But where had Wonder Woman been when she had truly needed her? when her mother had passed away? Wonder Woman tries to explain to her that her own life is so busy and complicated and that she simply had not been aware of her mother’s passing.

As the fight takes to the street outside Wonder Woman warns her foe that she will only hold back for so long before she will have to fight back unrestrained but Silver Swan simply unleashes a sonic cry at her…

Meanwhile in the Amazon jungle a worried Grail asks her father why they are still here as the authorities must surely be on their way now that Wonder Woman has alerted A.R.G.U.S. to their presence? But he reassures her that the fact neither they nor the Justice League have turned up means that the Amazon Princess is unable to re-find the location.

In the meantime they must complete the task of collecting the final four artefacts so that he can commence his assault on Apokolips and reclaim the throne. He then instructs the Female Furies to proceed to the next target but when they materialise at the museum they are met by Steve and the Oddfellows…

Back in Diana’s Beach House Jason has finished tidying up and is mulling over his sisters words, finally calming down and realising that what she said had made sense and that it was time for him to become the man his step father had wanted him to be.

He then sees on the TV a news report about Wonder Woman’s fight with Silver Swan and sets off to assist his sister.

In the street meanwhile, Wonder Woman says that the Nanite technology must how somehow warped her mind but Silver Swan replies that she is completely sane – just really angry at Diana for treating her so shabbily!

Just then Jason arrives on the scene and surmising that simple brute force has not won the day, summons his powers over the elements to create a whirlwind that surrounds Silver Swan. But when the wind finally subsides he sees to his surprise that she had cocooned herself from the storm by wrapping herself in her wings. She the flies towards him and uses her razor sharp wing tips to slash his throat.

As he begins to tumble to the ground clutching the blood gushing fro the wound an enraged Wonder Woman uses her sword to slice through one of Silver Swan’s wings, but it causes an explosion of energy that not only incapacitates Silver Swan but also Wonder Woman two, the the two women both topple earthwards, following Jason down towards the ground.
