Darkseid’s invasion begins. His parademons spread terror all over Gotham as the Justice League and their allies try to stop them. After getting blasted by Supergirl and Superwoman, punched by Superman and Martian Manhunter and hammered by Hawkman, Darkseid starts to get he isn’t wanted around. He’s getting pretty mad at their rudeness: Batman tells him to leave, Superman calls him evil and he has only gotten a friendly welcome from the Joker.
Darkseid shoots his Omega Beams in retaliation and accidentally blows up the Arkham Asylum. The inmates escape, but Mr. Freeze hears Batgirl calling him “Mr. Freeze-Face” and stops to fire his raygun at her. Supergirl shields her friend and blows him away.
Robin and Batgirl engage the Gotham’s villains as the League keeps fighting Darkseid. Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel show up to help, but Darkseid is too powerful.
Batman comes up with a plan. Firestorm absorbs the Omega beams and channels them back into Darkseid and the Boom Tube. Superman picks up a Starro spawn and slams it on Darkseid’s face to dazzle him. Flash uses the Speed Force to create looping boom tubes, and Superman tosses Darkseid into the loop.
Once Darkseid has been neutralized, the League subdues the Joker.
The Justice League celebrates their victory. Meanwhile, in the Fortress of Solitude, Lex Luthor has used Kryptonian’s technology to create a Lara-alike Brainiac.
