Synopsis

Wonder Woman and Steve land on a beach and emerge from the invisible plane in front of stunned onlookers. They are soon whisked off to Steve’s base where they are separated and questioned. Steve explains his amazing story and at first there is some scepticism but a doctor advises that whoever had healed Steve from his wounds had also restored the appendix he had had removed at nine years of age!

After his debrief it is clear that the mission to stop a mysterious foe named the Sear Group had ended in failure.

When Etta arrives Steve tells her all about the Amazons and Diana while Etta tells him how they are struggling to communicate with the Amazon whose language seems unrecognisable even to their best linguistic experts.

They decide to draft in an academic from the outside and summon Barbara Ann Minerva. When she arrives she is accompanied by Etta and Steve to the cell where Wonder Woman is being held.

Diana is overjoyed to finally meet someone who both understands her and can communicate back. She tells an initially  unbelieving Minerva that she had been visited by her Gods the previous night in the form of animals. Etta confirms that nobody had entered the room and Minerva causally replies that their captive is obviously delusional. But a frustrated Diana grabs the bars and effortlessly wrenches them from their foundations to the shock of the others. She then tells Minerva that the Gods had also given her gifts…
