In this climatic issues of the Darkseid War story arc, in which Wonder Woman played a prominent role, it is revealed that Diana has a twin brother! However, this stunning revelation was never further explained or even explored for several years into the DC Rebirth soft re-boot and at one fans assumed (and some even hoped) that he had been ret-conned altogether. However, he would finally resurface again in Wonder Woman 32 and become what seemed a permanent addition to the book’s cast until his departure in Wonder Woman #50. That said, it was left open so that he could return again someday.

Synopsis

The League fights Grail and Steve Trevor, now possessed by the Anti-Life Equation. Superwoman uses her newborn, son of Alexander Luthor, to begin to siphon the god-powers out of the Leaguer members, but is incinerated by Grail, who completes the job, turning the infant into Darkseid. Unleashing her rage, Grail strikes Darkseid, driving the Anti-Life out of him. In the aftermath, Jessica Cruz is revived as a Green Lantern, Grail tends to Superwoman’s infant, Luthor returns to Apokolips, Batman reveals what the Mobius chair told him about the Joker, and Wonder Woman learns a long-held secret that she has a twin brother.
