Rucka has an excellent style when it comes to merging multiple plot lines seamlessly into one narrative, as can be seen in this issue. Some found the “slow burn” approach rather frustrating but the writer increases the tension and ominousness of events so that when the eventual pay-off arrives it is effective.
Phil Noto filled in temporarily on cover art duties while DC sought to find a longer term replacement for the departed Hughes.

Synopsis

Multiple plots are afoot in Olympus, Veronica Cale puts the finishing touches to her plans for revenge against Wonder Woman, involving Dr. Psycho and the Silver Swan, while Diana’s staff use the media to fight their battles, as they confront the prejudice and narrow minded views of her book’s opponents.
