This issue sees the abolition of the monarchy on Themyscira but this did not seem to last long and was soon conveniently “forgotten” by future writers.

Synopsis

The war comes to a head as Magala, the architect of the conflict, is revealed to be none other than Ariadne. To reconcile the residual ill will between the two Amazon tribes Hippolyta abolishes the Themysciran Royal Family and both the Amazon Queen and the Princess Diana lay down their titles, thus resolving the differences that have long festered between the Amazons of Paradise Island and the “outcast” Bana-Mighdalls.
