Synopsis

Max arrives at the Enigma and pretends to accept Synnar’s offer. As Synnar and Eye discussed universal matters, Max hacks into the Enigma’s teleportation system in order to set Dolly’s trap. Synnar sends Max, Eye and a squadron of droids to set up a cascade bomb in the North Pole. Max distracts Eye by flirting with her then he places a neuro-dampener in the back of her head which knocks her out. The Justice League shows up to investigate because Superman’s alarms at Fortress of Solitude went off when the Enigma arrived.

Max informs the Justice League of the situation and Synnar observes Max’s betrayal. The Justice League weaken Synnar and he activates his teleporter in order to escape. Max springs Dolly’s teleportation bypass trap. The plan was almost a success but Synnar’s powers were far beyond the energy of the teleporter and his atoms didn’t get scrambled into nothing. Just as Synnar was about to reconstitute himself, Max launches a microwave pulse grenade which is designed to disrupt communication wave lengths or in this case, disrupt Synnar’s concentration. The grenade explodes but Synnar still remained until a flash of light appears in the center of Synnar’s chest and Synnar is sucked into the void. Earth was saved thanks to Max but he couldn’t shake the feeling that Synnar will one day return.
