This story line is based on an actual scientific theory originally put forward by Professor Charles Hapgood that every thousand years or so the entire Earth’s Crust rotates, so that the Polar Ice Caps shift to the Equator and the Equator shifts to the Polar regions. Although unconfirmed by Byrne, he was an acknowledged fan of Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman so the title could also have been an affectionate nod to the TV episode similarly titled “The Man Who Could Move The World” from her CBS series run.

Synopsis

Wonder Woman and Mike Schorr investigate a theft from the Gateway Museum of Antiquities and confront a strange race of beings.
