Synopsis

As the JSA continues to testify, Dick Grayson puts all the pieces together and heads to Professor Zee’s lab, where Per Degaton awaits the arrival of the professor and his time machine. A dying Prof. Zee stumbles out of his machine and declares Degaton his murderer in front of the arriving JSA and congressional committee. Caught, Degaton commits suicide.

Afterwards, Huntress reveals that at the end of his life Batman knew he was dying of cancer, which caused his hostility to the JSA, but his subconscious took over and left the diary behind as a coded warning about Per Degaton.
