This was an over-sized format comic series and the story was a continuation from Superman Vs. the Amazing Spider-Man #1.

This was the second Marvel/DC crossover ever published. Marvel and DC had previously collaborated on a treasury edition of The Wizard of Oz, but this was only the second time characters owned by both companies were used together. It would be followed by several other crossovers in the years to come.

This issue also marks the first time Wonder Woman and Spider-Man met each other.

Synopsis

Spider-Man runs across a deadly plan and enlists Superman to help. During the adventure they have to help Wonder Woman who gets captured by Doctor Doom.
