This issue features a bonus story introducing the new All-Star Squadron comic.

First Story Synopsis

The second part of the origin of the Red Tornado. Aquaman is almost killed while encountering T.O. Morrow but Wonder Woman manages to save his life. The team then confront the villain and Red Tornado learns about his past.

Second Story Synopsis

The JSA’s members are captured by future foes they have yet to meet, given they are from circa 1947, and led by an unknown menace. Only Hawkman, Atom, and Dr. Mid-Nite escape capture, thanks, in part, to Robotman’s appearance. Meanwhile, FDR is worried at the White House, as he’s been unable to contact the JSA, so they can stop the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on Dec. 7, 1941.
