This series adapted the adventures of the popular Hanna-Barbera animated TV series, ‘The Super Friends’ and took place outside of the established Pre-Crisis reality of the time.

Synopsis

Robin is training Zan and Jayna in the art of boxing. Aquaman interrupts the training session by notifying the Super Friends of an alert call.

T.N.T. and Dyna-Mite, both heroes from the 1940s, had had to be isolated from each other when the Manhattan Project had caused their powers to get out of control. However, a huge quake caused by a strange mole creature has broken the bunkers that T.N.T. and Dyna-Mite were staying in and needing to be apart, TNT headed to the Rockies and Dyna-Mite to the Gulf of California. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman with Gleek go to the Rockies, while Aquaman, Robin, and the Wonder Twins head to the Gulf of California.

In the Rockies, Batman tries to stop TNT but he shoots an atomic blast at Batman which Wonder Woman deflects with her bracelets. When Superman approaches TNT, he emits a blast but later we find out he was trying to get away from everybody so that no one would get hurt and he couldn’t control the blast.

Superman decides to take TNT to a scientifically advanced city and Wonder Woman, Batman and Gleek go to warn the others that Dyna-Mite isn’t purposely trying to attack them.

Superman introduces TNT to two of the most brilliant scientists anywhere and he expresses confidence that they will be able to solve TNT’s radiation problem.

Back at the Hall of Justice, the Super Friends are still baffled over the giant Mole Creature that destroyed the bunkers. Superman says he saw the creature briefly and at that moment Dr Mist contacts them and says that he can tell them about the creature.
