The Super Friends finds the first clue left by the Riddler to his crimes which leads them to two separate places. Sky Rocket is at one location and the Riddler at the other. Sky Rocket easily escapes Superman.
After the second riddle, Sky Rocket escapes again with jewelry but Superman and Batman catch the Riddler who admits that he overheard of Sky Rocket’s plan and considers him a rival.
When Superman asks where Sky Rocket is going to strike next, the Riddler gives a clue via another Riddle. “Where does Marvin have a green thumb?” The Super Friends deduce Marvin Gardens and Wendy (having played Monopoly a lot) recognizes that Marvin Gardens is in the same color scheme as Atlantic and Vetnor Avenues as well as the Water Works. The Super Friends also know that a ship known as the Vetnor is in the Atlantic with a shipment of Chromium. Figuring that this is where Sky Rocket will strike, Superman goes to confront him but Sky Rocket easily eludes Superman yet again.
But as he is zooms over the ocean a pod of whales spray water from their spouts, dousing his rocket engines. Once in the water, Sky Rocket is easily captured by Aquaman.
The story ends at the Hall of Justice where Aquaman asks Super-Marv what else is near Marvin Gardens on a Monopoly board. Marv answers it is the place where Riddler and Sky Rocket were going: TO JAIL!
