Perhaps as a counter to those fans who were not enjoying the New 52 version of Diana – or the direction that Brian Azzarello was taking her – DC introduced a second volume of Sensation Comics which was published firstly as a digital first title before following in print editions. It was an anthology title that featured one, two or three stories each month. Various incarnations of the Amazon Princess were depicted and featured numerous different creative teams.
