The Judgement Day story arc concludes in this issue following events in Justice League Task Force #14.

Synopsis

The Overmaster has killed Ice, and although the remaining League members want to take their revenge, their powers have very little effect on him. However, Blue Beetle makes his way to the control room of the Overmaster’s ship and disrupts his plans, while Amazing Man, prompted by Fire, absorbs some of the Overmaster’s power and turns it against him. The Overmaster’s ship is destroyed and he is defeated, allowing nature to get back into gear. Beetle is even able to save Booster’s life, thanks to a life support system in his latest armour. However, with Ice dead, they all know that things will never be ‘the same’ again.
