This series didn’t take itself too seriously and was set in an alternate future where the Justice League are brought back to life – though with very different personalities from what they had before. This series continued the story from a previous series called Justice League 3000.
Synopsis
On Takron-Galtos the remaining members of the Justice League lie low to avoid the tyrannical rule of Lady Styx and her army of Scullions by working mundane jobs and not using their powers. In their free time they transport to Paradise Island where they plot the downfall of their dictator. Tensions run high as the warriors are unable to sit still, and while the adult argue Tina roams around fighting Scullions as Batgirl to avenge her precursor but it ported back before they could kill her. Her irresponsible and rash behaviour causes Supergirl to reconsider the time frame of their plotting, especially as Tina runs around dressed as Robin so she can be both “hero and side-kick” and singing her theme-song.
Ice and Fire express that they do not feel like members of the team and neither does Guy Gardner whose host DNA is overwriting his implanted genetic code and the three form an alliance. Supergirl meanwhile watches and re-watches recordings of Lady Styx until she snaps and calls a team meeting.
Planets away Terry Magnus is brought before Lady Styx to be reborn.
