This series didn’t take itself too seriously and was set in an alternate future where the Justice League are brought back to life – though with very different personalities from what they had before. This series continued the story from a previous series called Justice League 3000.
Synopsis
Lois Lane – as Ariel Masters – is being interviewed by Utnik Poole about the Justice League and their relative successes as Lois becomes increasingly irritated eventually causing her to cut the interview short and storming off set. Back in her base she vows to herself that she will take down the League, now or never!
Upon Woden Twelve the League battle the Starro masses but can not find a Prime to shut them down without doing irreparable damage. Whilst a mediator is sent by Starro to accept the League’s surrender it is revealed that Ariel had been playing both sides against each other, Teri is sent off to try to find the Primary to no avail until she spots a crashing satellite.
From inside the ship Supergirl bursts out and, after being briefed by Teri, hunts down the Prime with her X-Ray vision and the two strike a truce. The fighting stops and an angry Ariel frustratedly plans out her next move.
