Plot Summary:

In order to stop the advancing enemy Diana persuades her Amazon sisters to use Paradise Island as a shield. It buys the Earth some time but the Amazon home world is utterly destroyed. As the situation gets desperate, Diana and the Amazons are forced to ally themselves with Darkseid in a last ditch attempt to gain victory. Their prayers are channeled into the New God to enable him to regain his lost powers. A part of Wonder Woman's soul is transferred across into the unwitting Darkseid, leaving him with a small essence of compassion.
