Having killed half of the Amazons, turned Diana into clay, tortured her, killed her, resurrected her and finally made her into a Goddess, Byrne finishes his controversial but certainly eventful run on the book, leaving us with a "powered up" Wonder Woman as he had always intended. However, in his wake he had created numerous unecessary variations of "Wonder Woman" and "Wonder Girl", and in my personal view had undermined Diana as the true "Wonder Woman" of the DC Universe. His final cover for the book however is at least an effective one.
Donna's origins are resolved and Diana is returned to her rightful role as
Wonder Woman, still however retaining her Goddess powers.
