Plot Summary: |
Wonder Woman pits her wits against Mavis, a former slave of the Baroness Paula
Von Gunther. After escaping Reform Island, Mavis returns to America where she
allies herself with a Nazi spy ring posing as a lumber yard providing logging
operations. She manages to capture Wonder Woman but makes the mistake of attempting
to weaken her by removing her bracelets. As per Aphrodite's law, the now uncontrolled
Amazon Princess loses herself and goes on a berserker rampage.
She defeats Mavis and smashes the logging camp to pieces. She is finally brought
under control by Baroness Paula Von Gunther who uses Diana's own magic lasso
to capture and subdue her. Once Mavis and her cohorts are safely behind bars
Paula welds the Wonder Woman's bracelets back on tighter than ever using a special
"electrical forge".
